Offered to your attention the tracks in release "Die Russische Arbeit" were done by Muffin between 2002 and 2007.
Muffin is one of the first Russian mix-makers working in the bastard pop style.
He makes both mash up mixes and remixes. He does not play at clubs but prefers thoughtful and careful sound studio work rather than club drive.
In April 2003 Muffin had send some of his mixes to the "Universal Music". No reaction were followed, however, eighteen months later, in album ½Reise, Reise╗ Rammstein performed a song with the girls singing accompaniment in Russian language. This song is well known hit "Moskau".
From interview on June 30, 2004 with Till Lindemann:
Question: Your songs were mixed with the songs of Russian singer Zemfira and
come out illegally in Russia. Did you heard this release?
Till: Yes, I heard it and I think it was a good idea.
It was very interesting cutting and several moves even
startled me. We would never hit upon it...
