This is how you can run almost any VB6 based application. **NOTE: this will NOT run any VB.NET this is only for vb6 apps!** I been using this method since I started using Linux based operating systems 2 years ago. This also works on 64-bit linux. How to: 1. Put OLEAUT32.DLL and OLEPRO32.DLL in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ *~ means path to your home folder. for example, /home/user/ 2. Run VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe 3. Select C:\windows\system32 to extract to (like you would in windows) 4. extract the files 5. provided you have the needed .ocx files(they most likely come with the programs), you should now be able to use vb6 programs! This comes with XTOC a free, open source (not GNU, sadly) program that allows you to sign in on a AIM screenname and interact with a chatroom.
