Considering this is a PlayStation package, the feature depth is excellent. Basically,
there are 24 tracks, onto which you place samples from lengthy lists into coherent layers.The format will be instantly recognisable to aficionados of Focus Essentialis eJay series. The range of samples is extensive, ranging from drum eni bass to house. Thereis even a rock section.Other goodies come in the form of being able to set the BPM to whatever you like. Want your dance tracks to sound like muppets after too much sugar? Youire in luck.The speed quickens and slows as per your instructions, you can adjust the key of any section you please and you can even make videos for your creations. Youill soon be marvelling at the level of control youire
allowed with the drag-and-drop system. Fans of Rave and Dance eJay will probably sneer at the lack of mouse control, but this is great fun nonetheless.
The Jam Mode lets you and three of your friends play music simultaneously using a multi-tap. The screen splits into four, one for each player, where each of the buttons on your controller is assigned a sample. Confusing stuff, especially when four of you are all holding all of the buttons down. Yoko Ono would be proud. The best thing about M2000 is that can put together nicely balanced hardcore
darkside drum eni bass in minutes and whack through your stereo speakers at ear-bleeding volume and 200 BPM. And you canit say fairer than that. Man.
